Nobody has been appointed to sell AFCON 2027 hospitality yet

As of September 2026 no hospitality rights holder has been appointed for AFCON 2027. MATCH Hospitality held the exclusive rights for AFCON 2025 only. On the 2025 precedent, an appointment lands around March 2027.

That single fact settles most of the question. Official hospitality for 2027 cannot be sold by anyone yet, because the right to sell it has not been granted to anyone yet.

So when a company offers you a guaranteed AFCON 2027 hospitality package today, ask a simple question: appointed by whom?

For AFCON 2025, hospitality opened about two months before kick-off

CAF and MATCH opened hospitality for the 2025 edition roughly two months before kick-off. That is the most recent precedent available, and it is a short window.

AFCON 2027 runs 19 June to 17 July 2027, dates confirmed by CAF. Applying the 2025 pattern, meaningful availability is a 2027 event, not a 2026 one.

Demand, when it arrives, arrives fast: the 2025 edition sold more than 250,000 tickets in three days.

Cheap tickets, expensive access

At AFCON 2025 standard match tickets ran 100 to 900 Moroccan dirham, roughly USD 11 to 97. A ticket itself is not the expensive part of an Africa Cup of Nations.

Official hospitality at the same tournament was a different market entirely: an 'African Series' twelve-seat box was priced at over 6.2 million dirham.

The gap between those two numbers is the honest shape of this market. Anyone quoting you a four-figure sum for 'a ticket' is selling access, transport and accommodation around a ticket that cost under a hundred dollars.

Why we will not bundle a ticket into anything

Under the UK Package Travel Regulations 2018, selling two different types of travel service together - a ticket with accommodation or transport, at an inclusive price or through a single booking - makes you the organiser of a package. No flight is required for this to apply.

Being the organiser triggers insolvency-protection duties. Failing them is a criminal offence carrying an unlimited fine on indictment and personal director liability.

This is why our model is to introduce rather than sell. UK government guidance is clear that insolvency protection to cover refunds is not needed where the facilitator does not receive any money from the traveller, so you contract and pay a licensed operator directly and we never hold your money.

What actually unlocks planning: the draw

Qualification runs to the end of March 2027, with the final draw expected around April 2027. Until the draw, no team is assigned to a city and no fixture list exists.

That matters more here than at most tournaments, because diaspora demand is driven by 'my country qualified'. The real buying window is roughly eleven weeks long.
